Interesting elements in the garden stand out in winter with no leaves to hide them. On a rare sunny day between storms and polar vortexes, I went sightseeing around the neighborhood to see what I usually can’t see.
This is a unique metal sculpture in a yard full of unique pieces.
A splash of color in the middle of a dreary landscape.
I’m always impressed with those who can turn rocks into art. This pile had a graceful Japanese maple growing over it.
Further inside the yard is this whimsical sculpture on a stump.
This statuary next to it adds a classical touch.
Another yard has the ultimate in garden whimsy.
A flying pig.
I prefer an old car on cinder blocks. . . a Buick.
